Midwifery services
Midwives are experts for the physiological course of pregnancy, birth, the postpartum period and until the end of breastfeeding. The midwife's services are reimbursed by the statutory health insurance companies or social welfare offices in accordance with the current midwife fee regulations. Those with private health insurance can find out from their insurance contract which services are covered and to what extent.
We recommend that you look for and contact a midwife in early pregnancy according to your care needs.
